Twenty-one teams participated in the 2012 tournament, and countless others invested their time, energy and money to make the tournament a success. The 2012 tournament raised almost $6,500 to benefit our community.

Proceeds from the 2012 tournament continued to allow Leland Area Rotary to support our local area, specifically in areas specific to Education and Hunger.

Below is a list of just some of the groups/projects we have assisted in our community in the past three years:

  • ·       Manna Ministries – Food Distribution/Food Drive
  • ·       Dictionaries to third graders at schools in northern Brunswick County
  • ·       Shop with a Cop – Christmas for local children
  • ·       Communities in Schools
  • ·       Adopt-a-Highway cleanup effort in Leland
  • ·       American Red Cross
  • ·       Hospice playground built with two other clubs
  • ·       Brunswick Cove Nursing Center
  • ·       Hope Harbor
  • ·       Christmas in July Backpack/School Preparation
  • ·       Brunswick County Family Assistance
  • ·       Rotary International Polio Plus
